These Cobalt Slinky guitar strings are just wild and I can't wait to get home and do an A/B demo comparing them to the standard Ernie Ball Slinky strings later tonight (I think I'll use my redrise JP w/ rosewood neck). We had around 100pks arrive today at our Beller's location with more on the way. And yes, those are the new EB Everlast guitar picks made of Delrin - I've been using the heavy lately and haven't used my jazz style Cool at all.

Nice, Pete.

Can you do me a favor and keep a couple packs of Regular gauge Cobalts around for me to try on my Gamechanger when it arrives?

Thanks Pete! That's the "best" way to compare anything - side by side!!! Yeah, the Cobalts sounded slightly brighter, livelier, louder; not brash though. I was trying to compare the warmth (since I use the #2253's); it was hard though over the net.

Right on Pete:cool:

Normally clips do not show pups sounds etc. but Pete nailed this one on the strings and I have listened to it on four different computers with different sets of speakers.

Awesome, Cobalts are not hype real deal, great job Pete and well more/cobat-cowbell:D

i don't here a big difference (a little) in the video, i'm sure in person the differences are much more discernable (< good word). maybe my ears are destroyed.

i picked up a couple of sets a few days ago, but haven't put them on anything yet. i've got a semi hollow that i'm sure is going to love the cobalts.
