Thanks for doing the demo Pete! I noticed that the colbalt seemed a tad more brighter in the videos, I couldn't really tell with the dirty channel engaged. I'll still grab a few packs and see how they sound and feel. Curious to know also the life span of these, so I'll give them a spin on a couple of main player axes.

Alright, Pete.

Can we get a demo of the Piezo with cobalt?

I'll give it a shot later but because the piezo works by a crystal vibration under the string as opposed to cobalt creating a disturbance in a magnetic field over pole pieces I don't think there will be a noticeable difference. The "unplugged" tone sounds about the same as a standard set of Slinky strings, possibly a touch brighter.

Pete I've noticed in your last few Videos you've surgically repaired the 6th finger of doom huh :)

Thx for taking the time to do this.... Very cool.

Yep, gone!

The difference was much more evident on the clean channel which is why I didn't do more clips on the distorted. Overall the Cobalt Slinky strings are a touch louder, and all around bigger sounding. The sustain is for days, even on clean channel!

Just want to mention that Pete is a great guy to deal with. I was impressed with my first pack, so I ordered 5 more packs from Pete. They just arrive today, can't wait to try them on my other main guitars, I'm most curious how it'll sound on my JP6. Got some jazz gigs line up which I might try them on, since they seem to sound better with the clean.
Any of you having trouble getting a hold of the Cobalt, you should definitely give Pete a call.
