Has anyone here ever modded their St. Vincent HH to have a push / pull pot for coil tapping capabilities? I've seen it done to a few Lukes etc, but not too sure how to begin with an St. Vincent.

Any advice would be great!
 
Given the control configuration the pickups are gonna be 4 conductor so it’s definitely going to be doable.

I think all newer MMs have a control board in them so you’d have to rewire the whole thing.

The 5 way selector is already wired with all 4 wires from the pickups connected. Positions 2 and 4 have the inner and outer coils, respectively. EBMM doesn't like hum.

Might be easiest to replace the 5 way with a three way, and wire both pickups to a push-pull or push-push.
