Color Question

I went to Guitar Center Yesterday and played a Stingray HH model and it had the Olive Gold color, I think it was made in 09 by looking at the serial # Someone told me it was discontinued... if true how do i get that color for a Sterling HH Model. Can MusicMan Make me one?

Discontinued actually means discontinued. So you can't get MM to make you one. However there might be a dealer out there somewhere that has one in stock still, so look/call around.

Damn, that blows! why would they discontinue that color! i guess i gotta do some research. Do you know when they stopped making that color?

I would try them on Monday, and see if they might know of a local dealer who may have one in stock.

I could be wrong but I think Bass Central has one. But if you call EBMM Customer Service, I think they should be able to also tell you if they do or not?

Nick... Basscentral still has a Sterling in Olive Gold listed on there website with a limited all Rosewood Neck. Not the HH model you are looking for but a very rare piece either way. Would be worth the call to see if it is still available.

Thanks for the help guys, I was checkin that model out!!! its pretty sweet but i love how the HH model sounds and i need a 5 stringer with a maple neck. I did call Basscentral yesterday to see if they had a 5 string hh model in that color, they said they were closed and were gonna give me a call to see if they had what i was looking for. I wish Musicman wouldnt discontinue there colors.. specially that one. For me im all about tone so if i cant find it in that color then o well.. but it would sure as hell top it off.
