Both are metallic, aren't they?

Ah, my bad. Forgive me - I'm still relatively new to this bass guitar stuff. :p

Sorry, Tom, I thought you too were sold on the HH sound? Anyway, what did you order form Jack? Teal?

Love the HH sound but I'm finding I like my basses like I like my guns, cameras and women: point and shoot. Too many knobs throw me for a loop.

I'm not letting on what I ordered yet 'til I finalize things with Jack. Don't want to count my chickens before they hatch.

I think the Pearl Redburst is only available on one model, the JP guitar.

I'm not getting involved in this color thing, however. I'm taking the company line. We have some really great choices, and I really don't need a flame-top Bongo.

Now that mahogany Bongo......anyway, I'm not getting involved!

How about something like a Caramel Burst. That just sounds delicious.

EBMM offers some of my favorite colors on their basses. They offer WAY more than Fender does - and they offer them across nearly all their models - and don't get me wrong, I love Fender basses. The EBMM bursts are incredible and I can't imagine wanting any other sorts of bursts, but since we're dreaming...

I love Teal Green Metallic, Burgundy Mist, and what I could best call "Candy Apple Orange." Heck, seeing the custom jobs EBMM has done (e.g., Jack's custom Bongo, BP's Biff Baby Ray), I'd kill for a blue and orange metallic Sterling with a painted UF Gator logo on the body. Maybe blue with orange flames and then the Gator where the pickguard normally is.

I actually loved some of the previous colors that EBMM cancelled, but if they don't sell, they don't sell, and I totally understand the cancellation of those color options.

In the end, EBMM offers more than enough colors to keep my GAS nearly endless. Oh, and flame tops on the bursts would be awesome.
