Simply put...some people will not change or will not even try another instument if they are stuck on one particular brand. My one guitar player is a Schecter fanatic, and he has played my EB's....he just doesn't like the feel. He loves the tone and held the guitars in high regard. He loves them overall....he just told me "they don't feel right" to him. My only comment to that, "The Schecter's necks are finished, maybe the wood feel is not to your liking." His reply, "Maybe, I felt like I was not in control of the guitar." at which point I think it is the wood feel. Much smoother and faster in my opinion. To each his own. He loves my bongo....he brags more about it than I do!

Anyway....F***der diehards are like us.....diehards. But it is fun to try and convert the masses.....just drink the kool-aid and trust me!

i was teaching a student a SRV tune on Monday, and he comes in with a modded TS9 and his SRV strat. 30 mins later he's shaking his head that the Albert out-SRV'd a SRV strat. It was a classic!
