Hi there
Just a quick question - I know that MM guitars have a compensated nut. I also have a Peterson Strobostomp which allows you to set different "temperaments" for tuning e.g equal, Buzz Feiten etc.

Which is the best one to use?

Dang good question - I'd like to know myself! I'm having a little trouble with my new MM and the tuning on my Boss TU2.

Yep...What Tommy said. We use the VS1 and 2 at the factory in the normal mode.

Every time I see the words "Compsated Nut" I think it's another thread about me.

So, the sweetened tuning. To use that you have to intonate the guitar using it right? You can't just switch to that and tune it and expect to hear it.

it will function the same as normal when intonating........

alot of people can not hear any difference between a guitar w/ normal setting ...& a guitar w/ sweet setting.....it's a very sutle thing that is most noticeable when using open strings along w/ fretted notes in a cord played in the middle & upper regestier. & even then if yer geetar isn't perfectly intonated & set up.... u wont be able to hear the advantage.
