We had talked about meeting up to play some bass, and so tonight we did.
And god damn, Samuel aka SwedishOwl can blay the bass, made my Dargie sing like never before!

that's all well and good.

but i'm more concerned with why he's standing under a 'bitch bar' sign, with a pile of toilet rolls behind him...............what exactly goes on there after the jamming??!!  :D

Haha, thanks alot! (Why am I not sleeping). But I wouldn't say converted, because I've always liked EB/MM!

Anyway, the bass in question was awesome indeed, sounded just like I had imagined it to. Powerful, loads of booty, yet with that unmistakeable MM presence in the midrange. This was with the bass set flat! And the output of that preamp is amazing. I might not be going to USA after all, if you catch my drift...this bass would be perfect to start of my MM relationship with, and the provoking factor (Swedish thing) is through the roof.

And lastly, damn, I'm the least photogenic person in the world. OK, I was trying to pose for the camera, but I still come out looking like a complete moron!

I also look like I'm 40+...

Yes, the Aguilar sounded great!

I'd also like to point out that strummer is a very generous man, giving me a ride (and back) to the rehearsal space, getting me a set of Slinkies, as well as a can of Coke (not the drug):D

And let's just say I've acquired a taste for martinis...

Isn't there a tax refund coming up?;)
