Do it man. What's the worst that can happen? You sell it later?

Life's too short. If you can afford it, treat yourself.

Yes, this is the best of the floyds. Myself, I really like having the fine tuners on the bridge and the simplicity of a volume knob and a three way switch.

Do it, the Floyd is great.
(I think it would be harder to convince you not to buy it.) ;)

if it's non-floating, the string change and tuning are no problem. if you like it, go for it! :)

im not going to lie it is a little werid at first then its going to come natrual to change strings. its going to feel like your under the hood of your own car giving it a tune up.
well i kinda is a tune up. just make sure the case candy is included it really sucks when you dont have the right allen rench.
i went from playing jackson sl1's usa select to playing music man axis guitars there was a big diffrence. floating to none floating. ebony finger board to birds eye maple.
all and all the axis is a well built machine for preforming awsome dive bombs as low as you wanna go. its really cool to see those strings flop all silnky like and then come back up your still in tune. its just one of those things you gotta try out.

OK been thinking alot lately but thats beside the point, I always think too much, my nature and my job.

Anyways there is a guitar in stock locally, I really do not need another, but again beside the point, have always wanted an Axis but my dislike or fear of a floyd has kept me from it, so convince me its not that bad to maintain, by maintain I mean string changes, I am so used to the MM with locking tuners and being able to do a string change in minutes, this Axis is killer, so life is too short convince me my fears are unjustified and I will like it:)

fing this ain't 1985 - say no to locking!

hehhee - I loved my axis, but the locking trem (as with all of them) is a pain, purchase at your peril, if you're not 100% don't let a killer top or sexy neck swway you....
