Hey everyone! This is my first post and am happy to be here! I have had a Silo Special for a while now and really love the guitar! It plays great and sounds really good through the EVH 5150 III that I am currently using.
Anyway, over the weekend, I had a pretty amazing thing happen...

A long time ago, I had the good fortune of having Andy McKee as one of my guitar students. He is an amazing acoustic player, whom some of you may have heard. He is currently an Ernie Ball artist and I could not be more proud of him.

I was playing at an event in Andy's hometown and he showed up with a gift wrapped, Mystic Dream, JP6! We had spoke a while back and I had mentioned that I really liked this model, in passing. Well, he showed up with one and gave me the surprise of a lifetime. As you can imagine, I am beyond excited about this and wanted to share.

Wow - great story.

Love his stuff - so will Andy be doing some shredding on an EBMM now? :)

What a great surprise! You must have made quite an impact on Andy, very cool.
I caught Andy's set at NAMM and wow, what a tremendous player.

Great story.
Love Andy.
Did he get you a case?...I mean c'mon...

quick hit andy story...
Saw him a couple years back w Eric Johnson and Peppino Daugustino.
Andy was on stage solo and one of his very unique and valuable guitars FELL OVER from the stand while Andy was playing.
Everyones mouth agape.
Andy goes "I'll just get another one from Guitar Center I guess"
F'n hilarious.

Enjoy your guitar!

I heard about that guitar falling! He definitely has a great sense of humor; I think it makes him that much more entertaining.
