I will consider offers once I effectively convince
my wife that we have room for a "portable" 5 foot
tall, 250lb Ampeg 8x10 and SVT Classic. So,

just order the anniversary model, tell her it's an investment in your kids future since it's "limited".
if she still waffles about it say "but...don't you want our children to have the best things in life?"
that's not how I got my 8x10, i got mine by making the agreement that I could buy whatever i wanted with funds directly drawn from the sale of music stuff...
it's how i get most things.
