Theses guitars all sound amazing how come that this is not getting more press is beyond me for these guitars in my opinion have revolutionized guitar such as the Broadcaster and the Les Paul did in their day

Dude, you must chill!! you must chill!!

I agree with Greg--- where's the 7 string??

For the record- my next guitar- a 7 string majesty… probably in white, but undecided.

Don't really play 7 strings can barely play 6 why bother with 7

I fought the idea of 7-strings for a long time, and when I finally made myself try them I realized they open up more sonic possibilities.

I refuse to even look at 8 or 9-string guitars. Yeah, Ibanez unveiled a 9-string prototype at NAMM. I think they're just seeing how far they can take it before someone calls them out on the joke.

Wow, congratulations on a Happy new guitar day! Thank you for reminding me of how amazing the Majesty looks in Iced Crimson, definitely my favorite color of the Majesty - that red/black color scheme is so damn metal!

It looked sick in the red lights at the concert i saw earlier this year.

So happy to see someone posting pics of the iced crimson color. Congrats. Just baffled why you have three 6's. If it were me I would at least have one 7.

You kidding? I am ready for a 20 string guitar!

In all seriousness… 7 strings is where I personally draw the line. It is like razors-- gillette and schick just keep adding blades for a "better shave", but it just cuts your face more.

No. Just... no.

Honestly, I have a hard time even calling that a guitar. It looks like the unfortunate result of a night of blindingly drunken sex between a guitar and an autoharp.

I was actually thinking about the razor analogy when I saw pics of the 9-string at NAMM. There was a sketch comedy show on TV in the early '80s called "Fridays," which was essentially a copy of Saturday Night Live, and they had a commercial parody of a company selling a razor blade with 4 edges. They had an illustrated demo of the thing slicing off ever increasingly shorter facial hair until it eventually took a layer of skin off. Now, in 2014, the blade replacements I get from Dollar Shave Club have 6 edges. As long as we keep buying more, they'll keep making more.

Wow, that iced crimson sure looks good. I thought I liked the blue one best, but now I don't know which color is my favorite?!?

I remember "Fridays"...awesome show! That's where Jim Carry got his big break... including "Firemarshall Bill"...
"Let me show ya something..." :p

I'm with ya on the 6 vs. 7 string thing (I know it's just personal preference and admire folks who know how to use 7 & 8 string guitars...)
I played 5 string bass for many years and it just came naturally to me.
But since I took up guitar a couple of years ago, a 7 string just feels alien. It's gonna be a very long time before I'll get anywhere near proficient with just 6 strings...

And in my opinion, the 10 string guitar was created many years ago... it's called the Chapman Stick (I love those things...!!)
