I'm seriously looking for a Classic SR in Tobacco/Flame Maple(No eyes please), I found one inventory that matches at a Newjersey dealer, but it seems their online service is somehow slow to me (sorry I can only email at the mo since I'm currently not in the states)...

I then contacted a famous online inventory place, sadly they only got one with Bird's eye maple neck that I can't really take it ( their price offer is great though ) , and I was also informed that I'd have to wait for about 4 months before the new stocks..

I'm just right now so fond of this fantastic looking stuff, and hope some nice dudes can help me out for getting one for real......

Cheers

personally I'd take Birdseye over Flame maple any day but thats just me.

good luck with your quest!

And I got this reply from the NJ dealer : we have only one stingray classic today and we are taking orders for others. this one is not for sale. delivery time is spprox 4 months.

welcome to the waiting period.. most likely you will buy another mm bass in the mean time to soothe the wait. plenty of people in here got bitten that way ;)

MrM

ps: i wholeheartedly agree with your: the tobacco/flame is the best combo on those classics :D

Actually ... I think I'm going to the 2010 New American Deluxe from a same Daddy's brand instead...

No such thing as instant gratification for MMs unless you find the exact one you are looking for in stock somewhere.

I highly recommend getting your fix from Dubaldo Music.
