Nice work man.

I'm not that familiar with DT ... but wow can you hear the Rush influence in there! (Instantly thought of some of the riffs off Signals.)

No doubt. Alex Lifeson is mentioned as an influence on JP's website.

Absolutely. JP mentioned Lifeson influence all the time in interviews. particularly in the Guitar Center Sessions w/ JP and BP, he mentions that he adapted and evolved his chord styling entirely off the epic sound of Lifeson chords and riffs.

Big, big influence.

Rush is his favorite band.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, so I take it DT is yours then. (That, or you're having a seizure ...)

I've got a few of their albums and appreciate the musicianship, for sure. Just was never really my thing, though it's fun to listen to. You can definitely hear the Lifeson in his chordal playing ... the tune really reminded me of the end of "Countdown".

Fwiw, Rush was probably the single biggest influence on my playing as well. Doesn't hurt that they're local boys.

Anyhow ... total hijack here. Great playing by Rzepolicz :)

Not sure if your familiar with this technique but it's really useful for achieving the MKIV sound your likely aiming for. I've had a ton of success with it. Tutorials and How-Tos - Axe-Fx Wiki MK Series Graphic EQ

Also this tip directly from Cliff is great too Fractal Audio Systems • View topic - Getting Extremely Tight Metal Tones. I use them together with great results.

Like one of the guys said my brain hurts! Thanks for that I will try them settings on weekend through my Mark IV loop.
Unfortunately i had to send my art sla2 again as i could hear hum on my speakers! S**TE!
