The pickups are now branded as "DiMarzio Illuminators" on the musiciansfriend site.
1a) Are they different from the pickups in the old JP?
1b) Is MF getting it wrong? MM's product page says "Neck: DiMarzio LiquiFire, Bridge: DiMarzio Crunch Lab"

2) It says "steel tremolo". Does that mean you use a steel block now? Or is the block still something else and the rest of the thing is steel?

MF also says Ebony board and MM says Rosewood. Might want to look into that so that you don't get too many preorders under false pretense. So...

3) does it have rosewood or ebony board?

ETA: Sweetwater has the same data as MF, differing from your product page.

Oh dang. I must have gotten to the old JP page by accident. Sorry.

So the pickups are different?

What about the trem block?

Anodized Aluminum Trem block I believe.

Also yeah, Sweetwater and GC and MF have had the Majesty specs wrong for ages (last I checked).

Big corporations suck @ basic work ethic and attention to detail. Call the press :p

Though sweetwater is normally really cool idk how they messed that up xD

Well to be honest, music man's own specs should be more clear. People who want to know what the tremolo is made of want to know what the block is.

Majesty is new regular production model, therefore regular case. Wait till you see the Majesty BFRs!

(Assuming that will happen, I don't actually know, but imagine if it did).

I need to start trafficking drugs to keep up with the amount of cash needed to afford the BFR's and PDN offers as they arise ><

That is correct!

The fretboard is buffed ebony.
The tremolo block is anodized aluminum.
The pickups are DiMarzio Illuminators.

The specs should be updated.

When people ask what material the trem is made from, without further qualification, they mean the block. While it is true that they should ask a more specific question the fact of the matter is that the current specs, saying "steel", mislead the customer.
