Hi,i have a problem with a ‘05 luke II.
There’s a crack in the plate, probably caused by much strength during the screwig of the previous owner.

I’m in italy and its hard as hell to get the original spare parts: some solutions?

Its a really big problem? It can be getting much worse? The guitar is really stable, intonated and playable.

Thank you.

Yeah, some people really over-tighten the neck screws which can lead to a cracked plate.

I'm not sure what you can do about that. It's possible MM might replace it but I suspect you'd have to send them the original. Perhaps try emailing customer service next week. You could also get a blank one fabricated locally and use it instead.

Or just live with it- it should be functional. If it doesn't bother you and it's not getting worse I wouldn't worry about it.

Someone was selling replacements, not official EBMM ones, but same shape and bolt pattern, try internet search.

It is a branded part. Gonna have to send that one back first and pay through the nose.
I like the suggestion of an aftermarket replacement and just chuck the original in the drawer. A plate is a plate.

As said above, if the guitar is stable and playable you can ignore it (until it becomes a problem, if that ever happens). I have a small crack on my Silhouette Special neck plate, it hasn't changed in over 10 years.

This seems fairly common from what others have said and I had a Silhouette special with a couple small cracks. Not as bad as your though. When I inquired recently on a replacement plats this is what I was told by EBMM CS, [email protected] :

We offer replacement 5 bolt neck plates.
The neck plate is a proprietary part that must be returned to us prior to selling the replacement.

Replacement neck plates for your guitar are part #M05242. These are $50.00 each plus $4.99 shipping to New York.

We've attached a parts return form. Please fill this out, then send your original neck plate to the address listed at the bottom of the form.
Once we've received this original neck plate, we can process your order and send you the replacement.

So that was a Silo plate, to NY State. You can assume your shipping may be higher.
