creaking???

Hi all,

I am in love with my new stingray! I have a concern though...everytime I get it out of it's case after it's been in there a few hours or so, (that's as long as it's stays in there since I can't seem to stop playing for very long...)it makes this creaking sound like the wood is "settling' or something? Could the neck joint be loose? the pocket looks tight to me but this snap has me concerned. Have any of you experienced this?

I had a bass that did that! I tightened the neck
bolts slightly and the creaking vanished.

Just be careful not to overtighten . . don't want
to strip the hole or crack the finish around the
neckplate.
