"Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin dead...

WOW!
I guess it all caught up with him.
Thanks for the laughs Steve.

Thanks for the post Darrell.

n case you haven't heard, Steve Irwin (AKA: The Crocodile Hunter) was killed Monday, in Australia when he was filming a segment in his daughter's TV show and swam over a stingray, which flung it's tail up and pierced his chest which put poison in his heart. He died before the rescue helicopter arrived.

Rather ironic that in his line of work he ends up getting killed by something that is never usually a creature that kills people.

Sad!!

Sad, the guy was entertaining and had balls. He died doing what he loved. Condolences to his family

Yeah----it truly sucks to have him taken out by a freak accident. People like Irwin who are truly passionate about what they do and put so much positive energy into the world are rare as hens teeth. Beyond some of the showmanship and nonsense, he was a true spokesman for the environment and responsible habitat and wildlife management. It just, well, sucks.

He was a great entertainer.....I've spent many an hour watching his shows with my 3 boys who thought he was amazing.......truly an original.

He made the world a better place by being an advocate for animals and the environment. He was also a good family man and friend to many - and despite the dramatic personality, very humble I believe.

I was a huge fan and will remain one.
