Thanks for the responses:D I ordered a presonus firestudio project firewire interface (comes with studio one artist) and a presonus faderport.I've pretty much settled on the shure srh840 phones and a set of jbl lsr2328 monitors. If there's enough left over i'll pick up an m-audio axiom 25 keyboard controller. That, and about 6 months of trying to figure the gear out, should get me up and running.....we'll see

One word, bro: Axe Fx! Get rid of the Eleven rack

Honestly, with a bit of devotion and tweaking, the 11R is actually great. It gets a lot of bad rep from people who don't try to pull out the best tones from it as possible. WIth that said, I've tried fractal's Axe-FX standard, and it was superior. But that's what price differentiation is all about. The 11R is way cheaper. For me, this is holding me over while I'm in Korea. WHen I get back home, it's going to be relegated to XLR interface duties. Then it's all SLO-100 from there. :D

Right now im recording strait through my Boss/Roland 16 track studio, it's great but I am deff trying to get some music programs for the computer, I absolutley adore Sibalius it is amazing, I have no idea what to get for an actual recording interface, leaning towards Cakewalk or of course Protools; any preferences or other suggestions?
