Can a EBMM neck be too straight? I understand that there should be some forward bow to ensure that the strings ring properly. My bass is set up as follows (string lenght from bottom of string to top of fret) on the E
2nd fret 1.30 MM, 12th fret 2.00 MM, 17th fret 2.4 MM. Don't get me wrong it plays wonderful, but after checking releif, I swear the neck is almost perfectly straight. I used a 24" straight edged ruler for reference. I have never touched anything on the bridge and have only adjusted the T-rod approx bi-annually (maybe 6-8 times) Just wondering if I should add some releif to maintain proper tension on the neck or is this perfectably acceptable.
Cheers and Thanks
