Rumor has it that Santa is bringing me a Breedlove for Christmas. Too bad EBMM doesn't make acoustics. I'd probably own a few........

I bought a Breedlove as a beater a while back - only gave about $500 for it, and am surprised how well it plays and sounds - should be nice for you!

When I got my first loaded JP6, it replaced my acoustic. The only drawback to doing this, is that one can't take it to the beach or play it offline. I use Ovations for that. Sold a 79 custom balladeer to fund another Ovation a few months later. I like the way they play and sound, both acoustically and through a PA. I don't have extra cash flow to drop into a martin or a taylor, etc. Then again, I don't spend my time playing acoustics that much anyway..

Gibson Chet Atkins steel, great for live stuff and sounds amazing. Also for the more acoustic feel, i play a Taylor 314 and 70's Álvarez OM model...

I've had a bunch over the years as well, but I find myself playing acoustic very rarely.

My first guitar was a el cheapo nylon string (my first guitar), then I bought an Ovation which I kept for quite awhile. Then sold it, bought a Taylor 814CE. Sold it because it didn't have any low end. I had a Taylor T5 and sold it for the same reason. I've had several 12 strings (rainsong, etc) over the years, but sold them all because I couldn't find a comfortable neck.

Last year I bought a 70s Japan-made Maya (a total Martin knock off) off a customer at our store. I bought it for $175 and it sounds better than any of the guitars I had which were considerably more expensive. I had never even heard of Maya, but it played great. More importantly, it had been in New Mexico for 30 years, so it was well acclimated to the harsh climate here.

A friend of mine has three Kevin Ryan guitars. Those completely blow away anything I had ever seen until then. http://www.ryanguitars.com/

I own an ovation 1778T. But I gig in my acoustic band with my JPs. Can't beat em.

When recording I'll use A friends Taylors.

I have an Ovation Adamas. Sounds unreal for live purposes. Best I've ever heard or played. I have a Tacoma 12-string that I love and it records incredibly well. I also have a Godin nylon string for playing live and a Kenny Hill nylon for studio work. Both of those nylons are simply incredible. I spent so much time researching and playing nylons before settling on those two. I also had a Cervantes nylon string for a while and it was really great too. I have a nice koa Takamine that I use for teaching. Really beautiful guitar (I'm a massive sucker for koa) and if I had a compensated saddle made it would be perfect. Just has some slight intonation issues in a couple spots. My dream acoustic is one of the koa Taylors with a spruce top. Just need to rob a bank and I'll be good...

I play a Larrivée OO-03MH as my main acoustic...it's got everything I could wish for as far as projection and voice are concerned, all in a very neat smaller guitar. If at all, it lacks a bit in the basses but that's only natural for the size. I had a much larger budget in mind when I went out to search for a 00 or 000 sized acoustic and gladly took the Larrivée home with me. Playability and workmanship are top notch, too (much like EBMM in my opinion).
I'm not the tallest guy and am generally not too comfortable with Dreads, at least when playing sitting down. Last summer, when I thought I was in need for a bigger sounding, louder acoustic I got a great deal on a PRS SE Angelus which is certainly not a bad guitar for the money but I doubt it will grow old with me. The Larry certainly will.

I have a fairly cheap Washburn EA-10 in black, a lot like the one in 'More Than Words', that I've had for years. For the money, the tone of that thing is hard to beat - great bass and warmth. Also have a Takamine EF-something or other that is lovely for fingerpicking and plugged in.

After years of playing on cheap acoustics I finally bit the bullet and, after months of exhausting searching, research, and playing, ended up purchasing a Taylor 12-Fret 900 series...best purchase I have ever made...bar none ...:)

Romania ...that's a country ...in Europe :))
I always loved heavy riffs and shred and avoided to buy an acoustic...
I 've started in 6th grade on acoustic, loved it but never really wanted to go back, especially after buying the JP and Luke with piezo.
2-3 weeks ago suddenly it hit me :)) and I wanted something cheap but good, if you believe is possible :p
TRAMONTANE T200D - Lâg Guitars UK

absolutely love it , the neck is very thin - you would think is an electric when playing it, has a satin finish all over the body and neck - something very similar cu the music man "unfinished necks"
the tone is great, and after 2 days I've bought a dvd from this guy, loved his fingerstyle when hearing stevie wonder's superstition arrangement

PS: yesterday it hit me again, my girlfriend wants to learn drums so I've ordered the yamaha dtx450 electronic drums
now I will have have a full home studio :D
