I proudly have the honor of being the first, or one of the first, to present photos of a new Stingray 4 Custom Classic in TobaccoBurst with a BirdsEye maple neck. Pictures don't do this bass justice! I will plug it in later. So worth the wait!!!

Reminds me of the Stingray I saw Mars Cowling play as part of the Pat Travers Band at Reading (UK) in 1980 :cool:.

Wow, sweet... but I'm a little confused as to why they did not make 3-tone sunburst a standard color option on the Classics; that and black were the predominant colors I believe when the 'Ray first came out....

Maybe if they'd set out to re-create the 70s basses exactly, but there's a reason this is called "Classic" and not "Reissue".
