First time I've seen one like this. Legit? '05 Buttercream LE with a rosewood neck, "custom made".

I've got a couple of basses with those plates. S'prolly cool.

EDIT: Scott, it's a Bongo with full rosewood neck.

I saw that and posted it in the ebay sticky. First thought that ran through my mind was "is this legit?" and I certainly never heard of a full rosewood neck from 2005...interesting.

Full rosewood neck with no BFR inlay. Sadly my first thought was an artist, second thought was transplant and third thought was.... divorce. :)

The seller claims it's original and from 2005. Not only no BFR inlay but it also has the Bongo half moon inlays.

My SLO Special Stingray has a custom made neck plate too.

Isn't that a one-off that was shown at the first desert bash? I seem to recall seeing that headstock before.

This was before the BFRs existed.

Search...search... Ah, yes, here it is. Somebody snag this!!!!
