Yeah, just imagine...

... when somebody says "That's hot! Where can I get one just like it?" you can just give your best evil grin and say "You can't...."

Would be a nice match to my Ebnoy 'Rays sporting the same neck plate... and that Bongo does have an oil & wax finished neck, which for me is the main reason not to try a Bongo...

Now, if I just could find some money somewhere...

I gots a custom made plate as well! As far as I know the only thing special about it is the SLO neck.

Nice Bongo, and seller is prepared to ship to a number of overseas countries but not mine (Australia) because he says it will cost me too much!?!? I would have thought that was my decision to make.

I emailed Dargin and asked if he thinks this is the same bass as in the SLO Open House pictures. If he's working tomorrow, maybe we'll find out.

No, I'm sorry, we can't have you making decisions like that... it's in your best interests that the decision is made for you. Whatever will you want next???

LOL but can you stock this specific instrument at this very attractive price Colin?

It really is a beauty. I AM kicking myself for not buying the other white Bongo which was listed here instead of buying the fretless Big Al.... but I do love the Big Al and am really missing playing it.

Cheers

Right now I'm eyeing the 1600 bucks sitting in my bass fund...

so, I'm not experienced in bongos but always intrigued, how will this compare tonally to my Stingray and my Wal? The RW neck is what's attracting me mostly.

I'm seriously looking at this Bongo on eBay, as well. Anyone know how the RW neck affects the balance of the Bongo? Neck dive? My current stock Bongos have no neck dive which I really like.
