I'd like a "rounded" AL.
Solid and a Chambered/ f hole option.
A really really skinny neck (depth wise not width wise)
Black/Gold/Blonde/Butterscotch as the only colour options.
SSS
Piezo

Well, I already sort of made mine (or had it made) out of a 1995 Silhouette Special:

Neck: plain maple, fretboard too (EBMM standard, redressed & refretted)
Body: EBMM standard with beatup but beautiful pearl purple finish
Headstock: natural
Trem: changed to a solit steel vintage "F"-type by Rockinger with bent steel saddles. Trem is fixed.
Pickguard: EBMM "moonstone" HSS original spare part (thanks Beth!)
Pickups: Kinman "AVn 56" single coils (stacked HBs) in neck & middle position and DiMarzio "ToneZone" at the bridge (all black)
Misc: no silent circuitry (not necessary), 2 redundant output jacks ;) (prev owner installed a piezo system), metal chrome knobs, t.m.t.m. ...

See for yourself:

I'd really love to have this guitar a second time - maybe with a rosewood fretboard for a change...
...but then again - I just had the pearl lavender Silo Special customized, so I can wait and enjoy a little before I start the next project ;)

Mine would be a
Petrucci body with something different done to the forearm cutaway(thats sorta his sig thing isnt it)
A Birds eye neck AND fingerboard(same profile as JP) with LEDS
Body Finished in Purple or Surf Green (with LED's to match color)
Finished Headstock
Same Hardware as JP (with something different to the bridge)
Sadowsky style Controls and option for Sadowsky preamp :D
Piezo's optional
Dimarzio PUPS

basically a JP on steriods :D:D:D:D:D

Silo HSH, 24 fret model with poplar body

Locking tuners and MM vintage trem with floating tremelo option, as with the Luke

Has black pickups and knobs regardless of pickguard

Make the blue from this Mustang my signature color option (kinda like Luke blue, mystic dream, etc.) MACH1 Mustang Concept - StangNet

Sub1 Pickup set (maybe a Duncan SH6 in the bridge, not sure) with stock Silo single coil in the mid, and coil tapping

It would have it's own name instead of mine, because my signature looks horrible and it's just not my style :p

Nice color Sub1 - It matches my 'Stang perfectly :p - The name of it is "Azure Blue" and that is the color I picked for my 2004 Mach1.

I used to think I wanted a Bongo with a Sterling neck...

I don't think that anymore! :D

FWIW - all of mine have been "custom built" to my specifications! :p

I almost got a competition orange 2004 Mach 1 before I got the GT. It had a front end accident that the dealership was trying to hide :(

Gotta love carfax :D

I'll play!

Petrucci 7-string with a maple neck/ maple board.

No piezo, no fancy inlays

Alder body with mahogany tone block and a maple top

Dargie Green

That's it really!

I like everything as it already is.
I'd add a piezo switch on the Silos and Als.
Other than that, I'd change some of the standard colours is all. :)

I really don't need to reply to this since my "Custom" EBMM would have been a JP with a Quilted top(Crappy!), a painted neck and some sort of mahogany in the body somewhere.......

Seriously, i wanted all those things with a JP neck... it's like they read my mind!

PS.

Hmm...either:

An axis supersport in Pacific BlueBurst over quilted maple, maple fretboard with non-matching headstock, tremolo, and possibly with a piezo. The catch: I'd want a mohgany body (I'm buying a supersport anyway because it's the best fit I've ever had in a guitar....the mohagany would make it better than perfect for me). I think I'd also like black hardware (including the nut). I'd also, in this dream world I'm speaking of, go with no inlays and stainless steel frets

Silhouette special with quilted maple top in Pacific BlueBurst, basswood body, maple fretboard/non matching headstock, all black hardware (including pickups), no inlays, tremolo, Dimarzio Breed Brigde Pickup and Cruiser neck/middle pickups. Stainless steel frets on this one too.

The Silhouette Special model is obviously the more fantasy based of the two:p......an axis supersport with those specs above would be beyond words though.

hmmm if its a custom model im gonna go all out on it

Body: Single cutaway(think LP with where it meets the body) with the cutaway
from the axis
Neck: JP neck(unpainted and no inlays) w/ Ebony finger board
Pickups: Dimarzio Fred in the bridge and a Dimarzio PAF pro in the neck piezo in bridge.
Electronics: 3 way switch for the pickup selector 2 volumes 1 tone, toggle switch for the piezos
Bridge: JP tremolo
Color: Emerald Green with a Flamed top (#1 requirement is that the top sucks):D
