Does anyone have an EBMM with a color on it besides what's been available to the public? I've seen the custom Copper Sparkle Petrucci, are there any others? If so, pics? :D

Also, is there a Custom Shop kind of thing at EBHQ, or a recommended luthier people on the board have dealt with successfully? I love the Picasso on the guitars Petrucci used to play and I'd like to (one day) have either a replica of the white/black 7 string or a unique rendition of it, except on a MM instead of an RG.

Make your mind up Jimothy!! On your other thread you say you want it in plain wood, here you want custom paintwork.
Easy either way, just get some sandpaper or send it to a custom painter. I can recommend two ( I have a leopardskin Epiphone) but they're on the wrong side of the Atlantic. I'm sure there are some nearer you.

I'm a Petrucci addict, what can I say? haha

The wood grain would be a nice touch, but I'd rather have something like this before a bare wood model. You never know how the bare finish will effect the tone and such, I know a painted Petrucci will sound fine.

Plus, I don't think I'll be getting my hands on an Ibanez Petrucci anytiem soon.

Hush!! Someone from F*****r's relic department might be listening.....dried blood will be $200 extra.......$500 if it's the same group as Eric Clapton's!!

That's the truth. A third of the posts on TGP seem to be about 'how to make your strat look even s***tier'.

No custom shop. Out of curiosity, do you frequent the JP.com board? People over there seem to fantasize about the Picasso/EBMM hybrid quite freqently. Not that I care. Just an observation.

Funny you should say that. I've been thinking about the hybrid idea for a few months, even before I ordered my JP7, but only until this week have I been a member of the JP forums. Sounds like I'll fit in fine :D

Norrin Radd, that guitar is epic. Amazing idea

jaxadam, I'd probably get a 7 string with the new p-up configuration, I just used that pic real quick (I grabbed the first all white/all black I could find)
