After the Autumn Redrise color had been discontinued, EBMM was nice enough to make me a JP7 in that color as I was smitten with it, ha. We believe it's the only one in that color with matching headstock. I think lots of EBMM forumites have seen this one quite a bit. :)

Two rare ones I always really liked were the 46th and 47th Guitar Center anniversary colors for the jp6 BFR and the jpx.

That's burled... something - what exact wood? Looks too light to be walnut, but I'm not sure exactly what wood we're talking about.

Is that a stock "made by EBMM" top?!

Kevin

Buckeye Burl Maple Top.

It's not EBMM stock. I wonder why. It'd be a best seller, no doubt.

I was going to contribute that same one when I saw the title. IMO, that is nicest JP ever made. Would love to see something like that in a production model.

I've also seen different variations of the JPX; sparkle green, some sort of red (sprakle cinnamon red, I think?), and the Mystic Dream variation that was only available in Japan.

They did a Japan-only limited run of 30. 10 7-string and 20 6-string pieces.

Hi Chris! Good to have you here :)
I absolutely love this finish - it's called Ocean Aqua Flake, right?

One more in Emerald Green. Not sure if it's a custom or if there was an option to have it with black hardware.

The Emerald Green finish was a PDN run. All of the JPs in production back then came out in it. The JPX came stock with black hardware, ergo the hardware.

Sorry to resurrect the dead, but I literally called yesterday as a last ditch effort to see if I could do something similar. I couldnt get ernie to sell me his lol.

I know I know, I should know better, but I kept the conversation short after the inevitable answer. God I love that color.

Well, this is a resurrected thread. Hadn't seen it before... I have a rare one - a prototype color that wasn't made in production called Stratus Blue Sparkle:

Ohhhhh man. WOW!

That looks similar to the one on page two, except with chrome hardware. Either way, that's a great blue.
