His whole live rig is split between Gibson and EBMM guitars, as that is all he uses on stage. He has a lot of killer Balls us mear mortals could only dream of owning including two double neck Morse Y2D's with one having a Baritone neck and the other a 12 string, the AL HHH , a JP BFR Baritone, Morse PS Y2D a 25th and now that Darklord Morse all not including all the back ups and whatever other goodies he has home. Come to think of it outside of Sterling he has the wildest EBMM guitars of anyone, I love his Youtube video of him showing his live gear and when he gets to the EB guitars he talks about when he recieves a new one and imitates Sterling saying sorry about the top, and then goes meanwhile it is like the hottest top you can have on a guitar and how well they treat him. Personally though BP says no more sig guitars if there ever is going to be another another I think Joe would be at the top of the list, but I think it is fine the way it is right now as he showcases half the line every show.
I have played this guitar through Big Poppa's JTM Blues Breaker combo and she sings! Very thick comfortable neck and very lightweight! A smoking Axe for Smokin Joe!!
Guys we love to share things with you! However at the moment this is just a custom piece Joe asked us to make for his BCC project. Joe has been a wonderful MM ambassador the past couple of years. This guitar came out great, so much so that he decided to take it on the road with the Solo band. db
That is wicked! Thanks for sharing that Derek. Does it have the same specs as a regular Y2D in terms of body woods and pickups?
All I'm saying is that I would love the chambered Y2D that Mr. Morse himself has, once it is refined as per his words . Joe B. has indeed been great as he plays everything, and I think he deserves to get these cool pieces just for him...I respect that totally. Thanks for sharing again! You guys ROCK!
Joe knows TONE!!!!! I love love love his sound, and that IS one beautiful guitar. And I am also diggin the reverse headstock. Goin to see him on the 23rd in Reading Pa.!!! Can't wait!!!!!!! I'm sure I'll be wanting to buy more guitars and amps when that show is over.
