Have any details on the Cutlass been released for the 2017 model?

I am interested in what the future may hold for this guitar.
I'm hoping additional options may be added, ie: bridge, maple board, pup configs, etc...

Thanks for any info.

Cheers

We will probably have to wait until NAMM for official word. We will probably get the discontinued list in the next few weeks though... that will give us some idea of what's going on. My guess is that we will get a new color or two and lose a color or two on the Stingray/Cutlass. That way they can shed what's not selling and freshen it up a little. Personally I hope they do it like SBMM does and keep the core colors and introduce a "2017" color that will be replaced by a "2018" and so on. Kind of like a year long PDN.

Yes, as Stratty316 said - it is a very thin satin finish and feels great. I don't notice it is there at all.

I personally prefer the satin finish to the gunstock oil. I kinda wish the PDN had kept the standard neck finish - but NOTHING wrong with the oiled neck.

Thanks for the info Mike.

I have 2 Charvels that have the urethane satin neck finish. It is a great finish. I switch effortlessly from my EBMM guitars to the Charvels and don't notice much difference, if any at all, to be honest. Both are fantastic neck finishes as far as I'm concerned. Knowing that the Cutlass has the urethane finish is very helpful. Thanks again.

Good point on Namm. I was hoping some info may have been leaked and or revealed before, can't blame me for hoping right? :)

Any time :)

I have to say, all of the EBMM neck finishes work for me, even the glossy ones. All of them are a far cry from the nitro on my LP. I can't get along with nitro at all.
