Hi guys,
first I would like to thanks all the posters for the useful insights I can find on this Forum,
Im the proud owner of a Stingray PreEB from 77..
However, I've always been fascinated by the Cutluss I bass with graphite neck...
So, I found it one on the Bay, and the owner says it has a pre-amp switch on the middle of the jack and the pots..the purpose would be to exclude the preamp and get a passive sound..
please have a look a the attached pic.
The owner says it is factory custom, as before seeling the company to EB, they just assembled together a lot of parts doing experiments (like string through bodies and graphite necks..etc.) in order to finish the inventory's stock..
Anyway, I wait now for some more pics of the preamp interior and asap I will post them..
thank you for any help and suggestion you support would be much appreciated
cheerio
