Adam works. I live in Jacksonville (Jax) and just stuck the two together a long time ago, and now I'm stuck with it.

I'm all out of body wipes, I need to run back to the store and get some more.

I'm really digging the fretboard ones. Makes me wanna take everything out and set 'em up!

Hey Jon,
FYI, Tommy likes the WWs too.
Janice

Lighter fluid contains naptha. Naptha has been used for a long time for cleaning vintage instruments etc. I have used lighter fluid to clean an old '50's Kay archtop that I own, and it worked really well. YMMV...Be careful if you use it, and test a small area that won't be seen if it screws up the finish. And no smoking when you use it!

Wonder wipes are WAY safer!!!

I bought the case sized full set when I picked up my JP7 Friday. I used them all on the guitar as soon as I got it home and it was awesome. The instrument polish ones caught some flak from Guitar World for leaving lint behind, but I didn't see this. I leave more lint behind with the Eb Polish Cloth.

I have a few questions, I don't know if they were already answered or not...

How often should you use each wipe? How much is too much? The fretboard conditioner seems alot more moist than the other wipes, and my frets were soaked after a good rub down, is this normal?

Jax - I love Dobermans, as does the entire Ball family. Dargy just got a new puppy named Jake. Worst reputation for the best dog breed on the planet.

Jimothy - Great question regarding the wipes...

I was a little dissapointed with the Guitar World review. While they gave the wipes a lot of kudos, the reviewer was obviously heavy handed and didn't need to repeat himself 3 times. I'm all for honest reviews, but as a 25 year advertiser in Guitar World, we tend to hope that the editorial staff is smarter than this.

We developed the wipes to be somewhat of a daily / weekly maitenence cleaning system to help preserve your instrument. We wanted to come out with something that wasn't as intensive as car wax , but allows you to continously protect your instrument while keeping it looking attractive. There are no rules for how often you use them, more a personal preference of how you like your instrument and strings maintained. I use the fretboard conditioner almost every time I change my strings, the string cleaner every time I play, and the Instrument polish whenever I see sweatmarks.

For your viewing entertainment -

Here is our new WW superhero that our distributor in Canada Charlie Argall developed.

Yup, I have a 3 year old male, and he is one of the best dog's I've ever had the pleasure of owning, and will own them for the rest of my life.

Look how good the Wonder Wipes make his coat shine.

He also really loves the taste or orange oil!

But after he eats too many, it's nap time.

Jax - your doberman is just a few months older than my boy Zeus. I can tell they share the common trait of couch hogging by looking at the scrunched up blankets on the couch. :p

Tim - Jo Dizzle should be able to tell you where to get the wipes in Vegas...

Have the Wonder Wipes made it up to Canada yet?

I've been asking at my local retailers but nothing has shown up yet.

They most certainly have! Charlie Argall Music has them in stock for your dealer to order with ease.
Give them a call at 1-877-488-1645 to find who in your area has them in the store right now.

Cheers!

I will be in Vegas in July, where can I buy some Wonder Wipes? I know one store in Vegas that will probably not stock them..... :)

Tim....why buy them in Vegas? you can get them in the UK, just contact Strings and Things LTD. There are over 3,000 WW's floating around the UK. E-mail me if you have any trouble tracking them down.

Basically, because they will be much cheaper! :)

Tim I'll mail you the $1 you'll save out of my pockett, if you'll support our UK distributor. Is it really worth buying them in Vegas just to save a buck or two? Give your local retailer the biz' and keep your hard earned $$ in the community. Offer stands on the $1! :) :)

Tim,

So what happens if...

You're in Vegas. You go buy some Wonder Wipes, take them back to the hotel room and clean up your guitars. Without noticing, you accidentally do not replace the top of the fretboard conditioner wipes securely. You put the Wonder Wipes back in your suitcase, right next to your schmaltzy "Vegas Porn Star" leisure suit. The orange, jojoba and linseed oil-soaked wipes leak onto your suit while packed away and transporting back home. Suit is ruined for good but worse, the Wonder Wipes have dried out due to your carelessness!!!

So how about that $1? :D

or maybe...buy them in Vegas....then take all the $$ you saved and put it on one hand of black jack! If you win.....then put it all on another hand....then just keep doing that....double up 4 or 5 times and you'll have enough for a $4.50 Cube Steak at the Golden Nugget. Only problem is tracking down a $1 black jack table....ha,ha,ha!!! Believe me...I speak from experience!! :) :)

A quick google search of prices suggests Tim will save much more than $1.....quite enough to cover the cost of a new leisure suit. A fair guess would be half price in the USA.

Luckily my Vegas Porn Star suit is 'Easy Wipe Clean'. The last one got ruined with a combination of chocolate body paint, baby oil and engine oil. Best left undiscussed! ;)

Ok, point taken, who sells them here? Do you know who strings and things have shipped them to? I will buy them here and you can donate my dollar to the CLB!
