So very cool to see my Dad at 83 Years old Plays in his Country Swing Band every weekend and he called today to tell me he loves His Music Man Stingray I Gave him.

Look again closely, it's some kinda 'Special' ... it's got
a string-thru bridge.

That is so cool. I just turned 50 and I am still rocking out every weekend. I hope to be doing the same at your dad's age.

That's awesome! My dad was apparently a very good violinist when he was young, but he hadn't played in well over 60 years, so I literally never got to see or hear him play. About a year and a half ago, when he was 84, he decided to start practicing again, discovered that all he needed to do was take off the rust, took a few months of lessons, and now he's in a band and loving it. And to think I was worried about being too old to start taking lessons when I was about 46.

I can only hope I'm doing that when I reach their ages!
