See that guy to the far left? That's Bobby Vega, and I don't think he's going to make it to Dallas on 4 November, I am terrifically sad to say.

But can anyone identify the distinguised gentleman on the far right? I think we might also see him on the 4th of November......

the never gonna do it without the fez on,

Jack

Awesome, mang! Bobby Vega played bass on the American Sonic CD soundtrack (which sounds just as good as the Japanese one IMHO :p)! :D

After talking to the guy on the right I decided I want to make him my role model. He IS that cool.

Larry - saw you with Lynne Davis - you look to be about half as cool as I remember! ;)

Chuck Rainey would be an awesome Dallas addition... As with the OH before this, things keep looking better and better as we get closer to the date! :D

+1 on Chuck. I met him at a clinic a few years ago at Bass Emporium. He signed my favorite Aretha Franklin LP (the one with "Until You Come Back To Me") and was the nicest (famous) person I've ever met.

That's still one of my favorite R&B/Soul songs to play!

Just gets better all along doesn't it? Is it okay to be terribly excited about this party?

Wow.

You guys are going to have so much fun.

And I am getting more jealous -- but dealing with it.

Chuck Rainey is such a wonderful player - he has such a great combination of melodic and rhythmic action. It's cool that a bunch of you have gotten to meet him!

Big Poppa, you are so cool to throw this kind of party, and hopefully you will still be throwing them when can afford to come!

OK...I'll do my part to keep you in business by starting saving for a S45 HS now... or if there's a Sterling 5 by the time I get there....we'll see!

I'm actually a designer working for a startup computer game company, which means I get to work hard and not get paid much....but hopefully someday!
