See, you could have the funds if you offed your lesser value bass.
Got three fretted ones sitting right here plus that one last unlined fretless and about six more fretted ones stacked up at the factory...how many you want??
Jack..dump the sparkle and the new beater and then you wont have to worry until the 20th 5's come out

Every time somebody has posted on this forum expressing lust for the 30th, and asking the rhetorical question "should I get one?" my response has been the same. Make it happen, you won't regret it. Those that have given in to the urge are at this moment living better and happier lives as a result.
I love a good sparkle, but there are a lot more sparkles out there than 30ths. Besides, unless you're Eric Johnson, a sparkle finish isn't gonna change the tone. The 30th does not sound like any other Stingray out there, and I mean that in a good way.

Personally, I'm holding out for a 40th Anniv Ray.
Even though he's an Eagles fan, I've always found Muggsy to be of very sound mind.

I'm tempted, I'm tempted! Trouble is, I couldn't afford a 30th with what I could get for the F#nder.See, you could have the funds if you offed your lesser value bass.![]()
