ok, so, long story slightly longer.

you ever take a rather round about way to find out that what you've had all along was really the cat's arse and was really "YOU"??

ya... so... needless to say, after acquiring a few basses over the past months and rotating a few out of my possession, it has become more than painfully obvious that Bongo is me, I am Bongo. period. I've got a great chambered-out 6 that used to be my college teacher's bass (one that he built) and it absolutely excels in a Jazz setting and that and I've also happened upon (through being owed for session time) a highly mod'd '75 P bass that... for the right setting, is a honey. BUT!!!!! As for all around work horses that can be used live, studio, or backyard BBQ it really has come to my attention that the big B is the only one for me.

yes, an MTD and a Fodera would be great but dammit, the Bongo's the one that floats the boat.

jeeez, such a dork.

thanks for listening.

rant is over.

back to regularly scheduled "web browsing"
