well just one minute ago i got up to fiddle trying out my new pedel when all breaks loose, my strap comes loose! damn i wish i put my DiMarzio clip strap on it.

yes its my y2d! it got chipped in the back. im just going crazy ill have a pic of the horrible site once i calm down.

that is Steve Morse´s #1 which has seen about a million gigs, played for hours every day, refretted 8 or 9 times and travelled around the world for 23 years now...

As cool as Steve's #1 is, I'm surprised that he or his guitar tech doesn't clean the dust and stuff from around the pickups. Maybe he's too busy playing it and traveling with it to even think about that. Or, he just needs a full supply of Wonder Wipes.

Sorry to hear about the damage - I scratched my car down the side - leaving work in a rush - I felt gutted - but I suppose I'll eventually get rid of the car - whereas I wont be getting rid of my guitar.
Consider using a black sharpie to go around the perimeter of your repair and I'll look even better.
