Yeah, I know...I've always been that way. Here lately I'm getting a little pressure from the "Future" Ms. RaginRog. She said something like, "No more basses....we need to save more for our wedding...are you sure that's the bass of your dreams"?
When it came down to it, I figured I better get my Dargie now.
The neck will take a little getting use to...it's so tiny! I've owned a few Jazz basses in the past, so I just have to re-adjust. The ebony looks very nice, as do the inlays.
How are you liking your new Bongo?? What do you think of it?
Oh I can hear you. My wife gave me the stop sign for buying more basses about a year ago. I had to promise to sell some basses when I confessed I had bought the Bongo. But I am bad at selling stuff.
I asked about the neck because I think the same of my Big Al. The neck feels perfect but it is tiny, especially when you are used to Stingrays, Bongos or P-Basses. But this makes it a really fast player.
The Bongo is a great beast as far as I can tell by now. It feels very good to play it and it sounds really good. It is absolutely different to the sr 5.
I am already struggling which one to take to the practice tonight since I have not played both with the band yet.
I will do a review when I had more time with it.
