Ziggy - I'm not playing anything live right now, but it does seem that the gig scene is pretty alive here in NJ right now. The Shore (note the cap "T" & "S") is still alive ("Jersey Shore" not withstanding).

BTW, Dargies, is there anyone out there that has a pic of a greenie in a live environment, or are we all too scared of a little scratch from rocking out?

You can't forget the martini glass inlays, that's what made 'em so sexy.

I thought I was going to be ok with just having a DD2 Bongo but you have to admit those martini glass inlays grab you and turn you into an obsessive freak who has to have one. Only three five string Bongos exist in DD1 with the HS pickups so I feel very fortunate to have acquired one last year with the help of Lord Bongo.

Theres a picture of me in the december issue of Premier Guitar Magazine playing my DDII. I'm not afraid to gig it, though it looks like my last gig for a while is on the horizon.

i think it was this picture.

I wanted to be able to see all of the cabernet finish so I put the guard in a drawer and put #2 phillips screws in the holes. My white Bongo doesn't have a guard either.
