I too look back and wonder why I did not join the forum sooner. I had purchased 3 Ebmm's from 1996 through the time I joined in 2007.

LOL - Yeah I actually sold that to a guy through Craigslist to help supplement my broke behind after buying the Dargie - LOL

Funny thing was the guy that bought it plays guitar with Danny Gokey (sp?) one of the guys from last years American Idol - the guy was SUPER nice and we talked for about an hour about gear, guitars, and Danny of course. Great voice that guy had...

The guitar I have hanging there now is an LTD George Lynch model I got off Craigslist for $150 where they guy had all the pickups replaced with new Semour Duncans and man i tell you what... the guitar sounds really good. i have a couple videos on youtube with it... It's horribly made and looks like a 4th grader put it together but it sounds really great!

Well thanks to YOUR GUITAR I fell in love! (Hopefully you wiped it down real good cause I think I may have gotten some DNA on that baby!) I swear it was hilarious - the guy I was with was laughing so hard cause everytime he'd say "oh man look at this!" at every booth we went to, I would just say "Dargie...<sigh>" with a distant look on my face... LOL

Not being sure how soon they'd start to show up or IF AT ALL they'd show up on Ebay I HAD to take the plunge - I didn't even HAVE the money yet but I told my wife I'd go downtown and sell my body if I had to just to have this guitar!!!

Luckily I didn't have to resort to that... and by lucky I mean for the people downtown! ewww!

Thanks dude! I'm a happy camper for sure! I almost feel bad for my Mystic Dream cause I hardly pick it up now... although the action on it is RIDICULOUSLY low - set up by Joe Glaser - holy moly that guy is good... The best part of the Dargie is it came set up just as good! I was SO thrilled to know I wouldn't have to send it to be set up right after receiving it...

YAY! Oh I totally had to show it off on YouTube - I think I was just the 2nd one to post a video of one. I saw the first one and was like AW MAN! he got his really quick! I had to wait until the end of the ordering window to buy some time for me to save some dough...
