Quit dreaming and make it happen.

Couple sheets of 220 sandpaper...

Can of Krylon...

And you're done - masterpiece! :)

If we continue on the "dreaming", imagine a "Trans Dargie Delight" on a JP15 with either a roasted maple neck or a rosewood neck. Would be so nice to have the Dargie Delight effect while still being able to see the wood figuring on the top! :D

After seeing it - I think it's great - looks like something out of "Alien", and I'm digging it big time! :)

Nice job on both! That Maj looks stunning, hope someone upstairs takes note! Been praying for a new Dargie series for a long time now...

Beauty is most certainly in the eye of the beholder...

Is there a story behind "dargie delight"s.... "lovely to some" color? Im far from a fan but I'd love to hear the story behind it...

Someone got a one off green bass, and the forum asked for that color all across the board on all models, but MusicMan said no, because "Green guitars don't sell"
Later, the forum demand for a Dargie Delight run won, and it was offered as a limited run like the PDN runs. Needless to say, it was very successful, and some models are really sought after in this color - especially the Luke.

Yes, the Luke, JP, and AL Dargie Delight models are incredibly desirable because of the low numbers produced, and therefore command a noticeably higher value than an equally optioned non-Dargie model. The first run with martini glass inlays tends to eclipse the second run in a different color green with oval pao/abalone inlays.
