If you're a customer of VBTC's and you don't see your name on whatever list that is posted that would be due to the fact that Ernie Ball does not have all of my customer' s names associated with a particular instrument. Many of you placed deposits after I had ordered the instrument and a few of you assumed deposit/instruments that were ordered by someone else who's name would still appear on EBMM's list instead of yours. Bottom line..don't panic just give me a call at 623-451-9660.

Thanks!

All of my customer ordered Dargies have the customer name in the PO - that'll make it real easy for Dargin. :D

Ah yes...but doesn't notifying each forum member require having the real name <-> forum id list? I don't remember having to provide my name when I registered for the forum. Or are BP and co. just THAT good? :D

We are going to do the best we can and specifically identify build codes to a specific dealer. You can contact your dealer from there.

All of our team is getting barraged from consumers about Dargies. SOme of the information about when instruments are completed have not been accurate from some dealers.

TPB just emailed me and said my DD Sterling HH was 5 weeks out.

I think I felt better not knowing when it was coming - now I am going to be watching the calendar and the clock - constantly.

And I've fielded a barrage myself, even though I've been out of the biz since last Oct or November, which is okay. I don't really mind. Those of you who have NOT barraged me, that's okay, too. Possibly even okayer than the others, but let's not split hairs, because frankly, that is HARD to do, even with a really sharp knife.

The vast majority of orders I placed were placed with either your real name or your forum name on the purchasing order, so in the vast majority of cases, the factory will know which bass belongs to you. As Steve said, some wheeling and dealing went on after the fact, but that was minimal and those of you who didn't waffle (overwhelming majority), SLO knows who you are and which bass is yours.

Please keep in mind that the function of the factory is to receive orders from the dealers, build the bass and then deliver the bass to the dealer.

The dealer is your contact. The dealer is the person to contact with questions about timeframes, delivery dates, progress, etcetera.

This works the same way whether your dealer is The Perfect Bass, Vintage Bass, Bass Central or Dargie's Bait Shoppe.

Thanks!

The less we interrupt the elves, the faster the Dargies will get here.

Play your other basses. Geez.
