Brent, the V shaped neck is very pronounced, where the Axis is more rounded. I'm actually finding it much more comfortable than I thought I would, and I'm finding it easy switch between my Luke and my Sub. It's much harder for me to switch to my JP.

During my time at Pete's on Friday, I found that it was although all the necks were different, it was quite easy to switch between the Luke, Sub, AL and Axis. It was the hardest to switch to the JP. It just takes me time to adjust to that shallow neck. I did find that the Axis has somewhat of an off center shape (meaning that the peak is not in the center of the back of the neck, and it bothered my thumb a little. If you're ok with it, you should be fine with the Luke.

For me, the big thing with the Luke is the EMGs. They just sing!

Just my opinion for what it's worth...

I can't tell you If I set that partiular one up. But, let me tell you Lukes are my favorite guitar to set up! One of the lady's who polish the necks and attatches the hardware always tells me, "I have presents for you!" and she'll have a bunch of "Luke" necks ready for me to set up!

What would you say is the most awkward modelto set up?

Silly Brent!

It doesn't matter what you buy, because you don't keep it anyways! :p

Hehe....we have all types here don't we. We have the folks who baby their guitars, the ones who beat them up, the ones who only keep them for 5 minutes, and the one that comes here for 3 years and never buys one.....wait, that guy just bought one! :p
