Dargie Delight Pickguard

Have any of you DD owner's fooled around with perfection and changed the pickguard?
If so what did you change to?
Just wondering.

That's my DD5H in the other thread with the abalone.

I also tried a creme pearl pickguard.

In the end, it has had the original black pickguard for most of its life. The only thing I plan to try in the future is a clear pickguard. Eventually, I plan to have clear for all of my Bongos....

We need a photoshopper to photoshop in no particular order:

brown tort
cream or white pearloid
gold or gold pearloid (hey - a martini-Packer bass!!)

Plain white looked okay, but not as good as the black does.

Other than that.....unless it's a clear guard with a photo of olives underneath it, I think the black works best.

Yeah, I agree with Jack. Unless you had a clear guard with a picture of olives under it (what a GREAT idea! Now, is someone going to do it? I dare you!), black really does work the best. At the factory they had a fashion show with DD combined with all different colors of pickguards (and some we don't currently carry) and black won hands down.

I saw (I believe at Jack's party), a dargie with a 3-ply black guard with red in the middle as the sandwich color.

Very tasteful, I thought.

I was thinking the same type of guard as on the 30th SR.
Black but subtlety different: Black/Cream/Black/Cream/Black.
Either that or a pinup sticker to borrow a good idea.

OK your wish is my command. I did tort and gold. Its my first time doing this sooo its a bit sketch. I can do any other colours.
