I'd have to throw in a 'yes' vote for letting these forumites show up late for the party.

But I didn't order a DD, so the weight probably ought to go to those who did.

+2!

As much as I'd like to see everyone get one who wants one, I think the most input should be from guys who HAVE ordered one, as some of them could be in jeopardy of the rarity of their instrument declining. As I didn't order one (or I guess "wasn't allowed" would be a more acuurate description!:D Ah, the Dargie AL w/MM90s and white ice PG that will never be...... ), I don't think my input should really count that much.

I'm going to play devils advocate. And probably get shouted at for it.

I did think the 2 week (was it 2 weeks?) ordering window was brief, but hey, isn't that partly why these models will be special? Isnt Limited supposed to be just that? Of course I'd love to see you guys both be able to get a Dargie. I was a day late in ordering a JP7. I'd love to get one now but then again, I wouldn't want the guys who did order one have their toes stepped on.

To be honest, I really want a JP7 but i really thought about it and realised that I wasn't too keen on the DD colour. So I would have jsut been ordering one so I can say "Look what I've got!" I believe there is more to owning an EBMM. Of course, the guys that have ordered are gonna love their instruments. And for more than just the colour, but for the usual quality and feel of an EBMM

Isn't this just part of the game? I'd also love a buttercream JP7. I think they look hot! But i know this'll come round again and I'll be ready :p. I'd like to know though, given the success of the DD, will BP be considering another LTD Ed "forum" type guitar at some point in the future maybe?

NO....that is my vote. Let them grovel in despair for letting the deadline pass them up.

Kidding. I would do it, but I don't own the place. So, I have this sneaky suspicion many bottle of Ketel One will make it to SLO with "Big Poppa, we love you" scribed on the bottles.....lol.......have pity on them BP....

While I don't jump at this saying to let them order, I did miss a few people on my "CALL" list and forgot to notify them of the Dargie Delight order window. So........ if "yes" then as long as they can order through me I'm happy :D

ok Heres the deal....

I am reopening the window for Dargie Delights for 24 hours starting Monday August 29 @ 8:00 AM California time...we will not accept orders after 7:59 AM California time August 30, 2006.

August 30th is a special day in the Ball Family as it was My fathers birthday...EB would have been 76.

We will offer everything except for instruments that were one offs as to preserve the integrity of those who ordered within the original deadline.

If we hear any whinning, bitching, or moaning your order will be cancelled. Please understand that we will not break even on this and are offering this in the spirit of the forum and its valued supporters. This is a plus kinda deal.
