Hi! I'm pretty new to this forums, this is my first post. I got here looking for answers about this bass I got awhile back. All I know is that its DD1, from 2007. I suspect the lack of finish on the neck is factory, can anyone confirm this. Also I'm considering selling it, to fund the purchase of an u87 mic. does anybody have an idea on how much a fretless DD1 SR5H goes for? I haven't found an identical example to compare the value with, does that mean its rare?

Thanks!

Back of neck is how it came from the factory. You are right it is a very rare bass, not sure value as I haven’t seen one of those for sale in years. I’ll give you $20 usd today. JOSH

Argonzee, beautiful bass, congratulations!

A fretless SR5 is a rare beast in it's own right.

A fretless SR5 from the first (and most sought after) Dargie run is quite possibly the only one of it's kind and should buy you that Neumann. And lunch. And coffee. Lots of coffee!

Price will depend on potential buyer's GAS and being rare helps. If you are not in a hurry, advertise it widely and wait.
