I'm taking plenty of photos, never fear.

I have one of Jens Ritter going insane over one of those cheap Mondial (Italia?) basses and every time I see it, it makes me giggle.

And for those of you who have never seen Dargie eating a sandwich, I can only say that your dreams will soon come true.

Steve just offered his expert opinion. I'm hopelessly impatient.

Bye bye warm bed, hello doghouse.

Was there a "DD" case at the NAMM show, or is that still in development (or was it mentioned and I missed it)?

Patient but curious....

No special case, Todd. This is going to help keep the costs down for everyone.

(Remember - regular Limited Edtion upcharge is 250. This one's 150.)

yeah thats fantastic...i showed my mum when i was back home on the weekend and she LOVED it, and couldnt believe how cheap it was for being a limited edition instrument.

of course she suggested i should get it :D and then i showed her my online flight confirmation account haa haa. i told her id get to fondle it and many more, she was happy to hear that.

i told her the whole story. she thinks sterling is wonderful for making something this well for a group of 'obsessed punters'-lol not her words. i agree wholeheartedly. :D

As usual, a perfect and very wise decision. I love the red case for my 30th, but the standard case is perfect for protecting the bass and getting around to see the world. My order's going in for a DD Bongo 5H.

Plus the cool inlays it's a steal!!!

My only personal problem is what model and pickup configuration to get. I was going to get one like Dargie's (Bongo HH) but have a DG one already and that Ray Duke character and the pics of the Sterling HS at NAMM has me thinking to go that route instead.
