Dargie Delight?

I'm new here, so please excuse my ignorance.

I hear about the Dargie Delight & see Bongos & Stingrays in Green.

Is the DD reference to the color only?
And what's the meaning behind the term?

Certainly gives a lot of insight into the personalities in the forum and the responsiveness/receptiveness of the leadership at EBMM to the pleas of the rabble.
