My teeth are (semi) straight only as a result of years of painful orthodontics Talking of painful, don't get me started on American non-spellings But perhaps we are to blame for the other foibles of the English language. For example, why is it one goose, and 2 geeses, but then we say one mouse and 2 mice? Surely it should be meeses? Or mices? And then SHEEP! One sheep, 2 sheep! It should be SHEEPS!!!

I feel sorry for the poor sods for whom English isn't their first language!
