A very nice package arrived at Starsky manor yesterday, my Dargie Delight JP6, fully loaded!
I haven't seen a whole lot of DD JP6 pics so there's one here and I'll post some more at the Official Dargie Pic thread.
Firstly many, many thanks to BP, Dargin and the EBMM team for the whole DD concept and for offering it to us humble forumites. A unique guitar with a great background story makes it very special indeed.
In person, Martini Olive Green is a fantastic colour, much better than I thought it could ever be. As ever, the pics just don't do it justice.
As a guitar, this is SUCH a premium instrument. My first JP, the feel, fit and finish is flawless. Wonderful sound with such a variety of tones, especially with the piezo, which is way beyond other guitars I have had which were piezo-equipped.
Can you guess I'm pleased with it?
Mrs Starsky gave the inlays a thumbs-up, and requests that consideration is given to any of the following in future special-editions:
a) little puppy dog inlays (preferably West Highland Terriers)
b) handbag inlays
c) ladies shoes inlays
Any of the above may be helpful for forumites to justify yet another EBMM to their significant others.
More pics at the Official Dargie thread.
