I've not been able to find a picture online, so in case any of you were interested, I took a picture of my Dargie II with a tortoise shell pickguard that came off my Trans Gold SR.

I tried many different PG's on my original Dargie. White, Vintage white, Tort., Gold Swirl and Orange Swirl. In the end i left the black pickguard. The only thing i liked more was the 5 ply Black PG from my 30th. JOSH

Thanks for the photo..............

Tort guard really works, I am glad you posted it! :)

I think I may set up some of my Dargies that way, and keep the black pickguards nice................;)

It looks good! Makes me wonder what a green pearloid pickguard would look like. My guitar player has one on a mint colored strat.

Ya know man, you have a good eye for what looks good. I wouldn't have thought tort would look good in that bass, but it really is easy on the eyes.

Thanks Bo...I think it might have been all the drawings, and artwork I did back when I was younger. I kinda like it....looks classy. Let me know if you want the white one...really...pay for shipping...I keep seeing these classic models with the white guard....you know where to reach me:D
